Tanfield Railway Path to Derwent Walk / NCN 14

Bear left away from Sunniside Station to A692 road - turn right then left into The Cresent.

Continue ahead on farm track around edge of fields - through Riding Barns Farm to Fellside Road.

Turn right and downhill to X-roads - turn left down Clockburn Lonnen keeping right to join ancient pack horse route steeply down to the River Derwent.

Choice of Route

Derwent Walk - before the bridge - bear right up short steep ramp onto the railway path and -

	Turn left for Rowlands Gill to join NCN 14 at the Nine Arches Viaduct
	Turn right for Swalwell - following railway path downhill to its end.

NCN 14 - continue downhill, under bridge then over over River Derwent on the Butterfly Bridge - up short slope to junction with Multi-user path and -

	Turn left for Rowlands Gill
	Turn right for Blaydon
