Team Colliery Waggonway
Team Valley to Pelaw
Exit the supermarket car park and turn left on Chowdene Bank uphill over rail bridge and turn right into Salcombe Gardens, next left and follow road around - through gap between houses to join a steep track uphill passing houses (L) under road bridge to subway under A167 Durham Rd.
For Angel of the North bear right up to Durham Road then right along shared use path.
After subway bear right then in a long sweeeping curve bear left steeply uphill - under road bridge - passing golf course (L) to junction with road by a tall aerial mast.
Cross Old Durham Road and ahead on traffic free path to Whitehills.
Turn right downhill on Whitehill Drive - then right into Creslow - follow around to left to cul-de-sac and turn right to join traffic free path again.
Cross three roads and then through subway under A184 Felling Bypass.
Link 2 to East Gateshead Cycleway crosses just after the subway.
Continue ahead to Pelaw Metro Station - cross railway on either bridge and follow path to cross A185 Shields Road into Station Road to X-roads.
For Keelmans Way NCN14 to Gateshead continue ahead downhill and first left at Jonadab Road.
For NCN 14 to Hebburn turn right - pass pub (L) and bear left at bus turning circle to follow a wide rough track - through gate to join NCN 14 at the District boundary.
