Sometimes the local routes are used for more than the usual walkers and cyclists. They may for instance be used for long distance running events, Some parts of Route 6 are official nature/history walks whilst some, (R54&R68) are also in regular use as bridlepaths.
If any events which involve groups or clubs are about to occur a note will be posted in the Latest News section of the 'Home Page', so that you can work your way around the crowd.
