The primary function of this site is an overview of the Derby section of the National Cycle Network. (See Local Routes) On this site you will also find details of cycle events organised by the local Volunteer Rangers, Who are supporters of Sustrans, and it’s backbone. Links to photos and text relating to ' Past Events' are on the by Ranger Pages so that you can get the idea of how our cycling ventures are organised. We also do work on the Sustrans cycle paths, keeping them to a quality fit for visitors either on foot, horse, or bike. On our 'Emergency Contact' page, if you have any suggestions or concerns about any of the Local Routes (R6, R68, R54), you will find links to enable you to get in touch with the correct person (possibly a local Volunteer Ranger). If you have problems with any of the other Urban Cycleways, Junctions or Roads, these would be the concern of the Derby Councils here you will find contact details for the Local area councils and Police
