NCN Route 6 is the most attractive route going through Derby..

Route 6 takes it’s users to Nottingham in the East and Leicester in the South it is also one of the busiest. Both directions follow rivers and canals so they are mainly flat for many miles. Both routes lead to attractive rides - The Nutbrook Trail in the Nottingham direction also has the many paths of Shipley Park to explore. Whilst the south has Cloud Hill and Staunton Harold as sites of interest for the leisure cyclist. These routes are favourites of Derby Cyclists.
