August 23rd - St. Clare's Hospice "Banks of the Tyne" sponsored ride.
Primrose - Jarrow - A 20 mile ride following the River Don Cycleway to join NCN 14 Keelmans Way to Millennium Bridge and return along Hadrian's Cycleway NCN 72 via Cycle Tunnel back to Primrose.

August 30th South Tyneside Councils Enviro Fayre
Venue:- Bents Park - South Shields - on the sea front.
More details when known but volunteers will be requested tio help set up, man the display stand and to clear away afterwards.

Monday - August 31st Big Green Seaside Station Day.
Venue: Tynemouth Metro Station
Help required to set up and man the Sustrans Stand.
This is an all day event and Lindsay would be grateful for any help in looking after the stall. So if you could spare any time at all, even if it is only a couple of hours or so that would be great. I am sure you will enjoy yourself. This is a fun event, so if you wish to get involved please contact me as soon as possible. There should be lots of activities in addition to the stalls

3 routes for all abilities plus "The Beast"
Big Ride 25 miles - Medium Ride 10 miles - Little Ride 3 miles
The Beast - 50 miles for the more experienced riders.
