Scotswood Bridge cross river link
From Hadrian's Cycleway - turn onto red pathways - pass Millennium Milepost and cross
the large footbridge over Scotswood Road and up and over Scotswood Bridge - on south
side bear around left and down to join Keelman's Way at junction direction sign post.

Keelman's Way up river to Wylam
Descend ramp from Scotswood Bridge to road and junction direction signs. Turn sharp left along riverside road and under Scotswood Bridge and bear right to join riverside pathway.
Keelman's Way down river to Gateshead
At junction direction signs - bear right and folow the road around and through Derwenthaugh Marina, cross boat launching slipway and follow grit stone path to Derwenthaugh Rail Bridge - pass under bridge (mind low girders) and turn right up a short ramp and very sharp right to cross back over the River Derwent alongside Derwenthaugh Rail Bridge.
At junction direction signs - bear right and folow the road around and through Derwenthaugh Marina, cross boat launching slipway and follow grit stone path to Derwenthaugh Rail Bridge - pass under bridge (mind low girders) and continue straight ahead up the River Derwent.
