web site is intended to be a guide to the
network of National Cycle Network routes
1, 7, 14 & 72 which together form the
Three Rivers Cycle Route linking
Teesside to Tyneside via County Durham.
Other linking routes will be added later.

It is a route
of many contrasts linking the Tees, Wear and Tyne estuaries, the Cathedral
City of Durham, Hadrian's Wall, sculpture trails, industrial heritage,
mining and shipbuilding.

of the
North Sea Cycle Route.

Winds its way from Stockton to South Shields via Hartlepool, Durham, Consett
and Gateshead.
Part of the route from Consett to Blaydon and

Runs along the north bank of the River Tyne

Hadrian's Cycleway and Sea to Sea - C2C
