Continue south on the railway path passing Shotton Colliery to Wingate and cycleway junction.

Continue to Stockton via Grindon

Bear right to Station Town and continue on the Castle Eden Walkway several miles to end of railway path at Grindon Cottages.

Turn left and follow lane to Fulthorpe Garage - bear right onto road to Blakeston Bridge and left.

At T-jcn straight ahead and under A177 - follow track back to the railway path again and turn south - after crossing road turn left into housing estate and right into Tithe Barn Road.

Follow around and turn right into Cornforth Close - join track to Ketton Road - after passing school(R) - turn right and use Toucan Crossing over A177.

Ahead and right to follow Rothwell Cresent around into Ruslip Close - left on Ragpath Lane and right into Romsey Road.

At T-jcn straight ahead on track towards rail bridge - left under bridge and right over Pelican Crossing - ahead on track and right into Darlington Lane.

Through barrier and join off road cycle path alongside rail embankment.

Turn left to follow railway path in a big arc towards the HM Prison and cycle route junction.
