As you approach the mouth of the River Wear, from the West, as you climb a small incline away from the riverside and The National Glass Centre. You will come across the "Red Room" - seen to the North side of the path. The first view will be as viewed in the second photograph above. With more detailed views in the third and fourth photographs, unfortunately these photographs don't do the red stonework justice as I lost quite a bit of resolution when shrinking the originals for use on the "web". Further along, nearer the Marina, a Red Room Chimney. And if you keep yourself aware, a few more, pieces can be seen either side of the pathway.
